Our winter web site launched September 15 and we would appreciate it if you would go there and give us your feedback. Tourism Marketing Partner businesses, please review your listings to insure you are taking full advantage of 300-400 words of copy and the photo gallery and to verify your web and email links. Some of you might like to change out your icon images to winter. Both Chambers are now actively selling Marketing Partnerships so please review those documents closely and call us (641-7992) if you'd like to discuss ways to make the most of your enhanced visibility!
TA staff just returned from the Colorado Governor's Conference on Tourism where we learned about new social marketing ideas. We are focused on implementing as many of these ideas as possible at GunnisonCrestedButte.com If you have any ideas or suggestions or would like to participate at any level, please let us know. Our new web site will allow us to employ many "web 2.0" features that will improve our organic rankings in the major search engines, which now account for more than 50% of our unique visitors and captivate our guest's interests.
NEW Calendar Functionality is available so that even you can load different versions of the Community Calendar on your web site! Here's a short list of sites that are incorporating the new functionality if you want to see what it looks like. Just let us know if we can help you and someone from the committee will gladly meet with you.
NOW is the time to load your winter and spring events. If your event is not loaded, do it today ... it's easy! Visitors are coming to the site looking for winter information already and locals are looking to plan their events, so be sure to get your event loaded as soon as you have the date(s).
