Wine Down from the Summer

In the autumn, a resplendent calm falls over Crested Butte.  The glorious golden leaves make it feels as if rays of sunshine are illuminating from within the aspen trees rather than being reflected off them and a glowing warmth surrounds the town.   It is the perfect time to combine a weekend getaway with the enjoyment of hands-on wine making in an idyllic mountain setting.  During your three night stay at The Ruby of Crested Butte, a luxury bed and breakfast you will learn the basics of personal wine making while sampling varietals from different Western Slope wineries.  A beautiful dinner with wine pairings will be prepared for you Crested Butte's very own Django's Restaurant.  You will also have the opportunity to bottle wine made exclusively for The Ruby and take home your very own bottle to open later in the winter and remember your beautiful fall getaway of wine making in the mountains!

Golden Leaves  for Golden Getaways

For couples 55 and older, The Ruby of Crested Butte, a luxury bed and breakfast, would like to invite
you to Crested Butte this fall as the town and surrounding areas are enveloped by the golden hues of the changing aspen leaves.
Enjoy a two night stay for two including a gourmet breakfast for each morning of your stay, a guided summit hiking excursion, including a gourmet picnic complete with a bottle of champagne to toast your accomplishment. Dine finely that evening at Soupcon, Crested Butte's fine French dining experience.  Also while you are here, engage in a couple's restorative yoga session that incorporates gentle poses and breathing practices that will renew and energize you.  Package starts at $850 per couple.

Fall in Love at The Ruby
This September, Fall in Love all over again at The Ruby of Crested Butte, a luxury bed and breakfast.  Enjoy a romantic stay of two to three nights while we pamper and create a setting where love is in the air.

Arrive to your guest room filled with roses petals throughout, a bottle of Prosecco awaiting you as well as dark chocolate covered strawberries. In the morning, wake up to a decadently mouth-watering breakfast in bed.  Then head off to a couple's aromatherapy massage where your life's stresses will melt away so you can once again focus on each other.  Then take The Ruby's very own "bicycle built for two" around town to bask in the glowing warmth of the autumn sun and golden aspen leaves.  That evening, enjoy a romantic dinner for two at Crested Butte's Soupcon French bistro.  The next morning, wake up early for a breathtaking hot air balloon ride to witness the fall colors from a whole new perspective.  That afternoon, take a scenic drive over Kebler Pass to Paonia for a wine-tasting adventure.  We set up your wine-tasting tour at some of Colorado's best wineries, then finish off your evening with a special dinner for two at Paonia's very own Flying Fork Cafe.  Drive back to Crested Butte  just as the sun is starting to set over the mountains.  A perfect Fall Getaway to Fall in Love.

Cowgirls Getaway
Cowgirls don't get the blues at The Ruby bed and breakfast, when they arrive to find gift baskets filled with Boss Lady smokin' hot bath and body products and luxurious guest rooms. The day starts with a country gourmet breakfast and an adventurous day of horseback riding at Fantasy Ranch. A massage follows a day in the saddle, then fine dining out on the town and another perfect night sleep at the inn. The package, offered through October 15, 2010, starts at $450 per person including a two-night stay, gift basket, daily gourmet breakfasts, horseback riding, one-hour massage, and dinner at one of Crested Butte's fine dining experiences.
