Depending on your specific meeting requirements, we are perfect for meetings up to 500 people and of course, retreats, executive meetings and incentives. Our largest facilities are owned and operated by Crested Butte Mountain Resort in the Town of Mt. Crested Butte just 3 "free shuttle miles" from the 1880s colorful Victorian town of Crested Butte. In August 2007 the ski area opened the new Mountaineer Conference Center with a 5,000 square foot ballroom and in the Lodge, 85 high end lodging units. The Conference Center totals 9,000 square feet of flexible meeting space along a luxurious board rooms, a full banquet kitchen and expansive prefunction area. We also offer wonderful options for smaller meetings in Mt. Crested Butte, Crested Butte, Gunnison and Almont which is located right in between Gunnison and Crested Butte.

Our airport, the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport, is located in the City of Gunnison which is 28 scenic miles from Crested Butte and just 3 miles more to the Town of Mt. Crested Butte. Western State College of Colorado also located in the City of Gunnison provides extensive meeting and conference facilities. The Ruby of Crested Butte will offer meeting planners the opportunity to arrange events that will incorporate sustainable practices in every facet of a group's experience. In addition to all the previously-mentioned initiatives, The Ruby will offer groups the opportunity to include sustainable food and beverage options, environmentally friendly sustainable meeting products, and carbon-offset programs to minimize travel impacts for meeting participants. In addition, for weddings, The Ruby of Crested Butte will work with the bride and groom to include more personal sustainability practices in their special occasion.
