Summer visitors come to fish, hike, canoe, horseback ride, drive mountain jeep trails [jeep tours and ATV rentals available], sculpt the pure white marble and relax on the Crystal River's pebble beaches. Fall visitors come to hunt and to witness the grandeur that The Rocky Mountain News referred to as "the Granddaddy of all Fall color experiences." The area is rich in history, and home to the Crystal Mill (one of Colorado's most photographed sites), and The Yule Marble Quarry (the sole source of Colorado's State Rock).
