Camping & RV Info

With nearly two million acres of National Forest, camping opportunities abound. From primitive camping to complete convenience facilities, you can enjoy the great outdoors to your satisfaction. One of the larger and more popular places for enjoying the Curecanti National Recreation Area with your RV is the West Elk Marina located just off Highway 50, west of Gunnison. We also have many locally owned and operated resorts and campgrounds that cater to our RV guests. Check with the BLM and Forest Service local office (970/641-0471) M-F 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., as you can reserve some campsites before you arrive.
